Young & Empowered Women (Y&E) is on a mission to elevate young women of color through leadership development, mentorship, and access to real-world opportunities. Their work has cultivated a powerful network of over 200 cohort members and alumni, with 67% identifying as first-generation college students and 65% identifying as women of color. Through a proven model of professional development, mentorship, and networking, members of Young & Empowered have experienced tangible growth — reporting significant personal, academic, and professional progress as part of their participation in 2023.
